Volunteer
For local community museums like ours, volunteers play a crucial role in increasing our operational capacity and in enhancing our programs and collections. Volunteers are a valued part of our museum family and can take on any number of interesting roles which are both enjoyable and good for professional development. Whether it is collection management, public programming, research projects or whatever else interests you, we will likely have a place waiting for you at the museum.
Some possible opportunities right now at Murney Tower Museum include:
English-to-French Translator
Help Murney Tower reach a wider audience. We are currently seeking volunteers with excellent French language skills to help us translate our existing written content including our texts, programs and exhibit panels. This position has a flexible schedule and can be done remotely. Reports to the Museum Manager and is approximately eight hours a month.

Former Interpreters
The Murney Tower has had many students work under its little red roof over the years. Many have kept in touch and still love Murney to this day. Did you work at the Tower some point in the past? Our growing community of former Historical Interpreters, Museum Assistants and Collection Interns would love to hear from you! Reach out and share your story!
