Murney Fest

Murney Fest is back for another year! Join us as we celebrate the museum’s 101st birthday with crafts, activities, and local museum booths.

This all-ages event runs from 10 AM to 4PM on Saturday, August 15th. You can take part in outdoor games, indoor crafts and activities, and learn more about different museums and heritage organizations in Kingston.

Activities:

  • Outdoor yard games

  • Paper Murney Tower craft

  • Friendship bracelet station

  • Button-making station

  • Popsicle stick soldiers craft

  • Scavenger hunt

Sunset Cruise on the Island Queen

Location: Crawford Wharf - 1 Brock St.

Date: Sunday, August 30, 2026

Time: 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Join Murney Tower Museum as we celebrate the close of our 101st season with a relaxing evening cruise on the Kingston waterfront in partnership with Kingston 1000 Islands Cruises.

Boarding begins at 6:30 p.m., with the cruise departing at 7:00 p.m. and returning at 9:00 p.m. Enjoy views of the sunset (and the tower!) from the Island Queen while celebrating another season at the museum.

Tickets are $35 per person and include one complimentary drink. Your drink ticket may be exchanged onboard for one of the host bar options, including house wine, draught beer, canned alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, or mocktails. An onboard canteen will also be open throughout the cruise, offering snacks and light fare for purchase.
